Recently, a shocking video of a female trainer named Jessica Radcliffe being attacked by an orca or killer whale has gone viral on social media. However, an investigation has revealed that this incident was completely fabricated, and artificial intelligence (AI) created the video that was circulated.
In the video, which has been circulating on various platforms including TikTok and Facebook, a female trainer is seen performing physical exercises on the back of an orca during an aquatic show. Suddenly, the orca attacks her and drags her underwater. The description attached to the video claims that the 23-year-old trainer named Jessica Radcliffe has tragically died.
No truth has been found in this incident. International fact-checking organizations and mainstream media outlets have reported that there is no record of a marine animal trainer named Jessica Radcliffe, and the marine park mentioned does not exist.

Experts have analyzed the viral video and said it was fake and created using artificial intelligence. Inconsistencies and unrealistic animations have been observed in some parts of the video, proving it is fake.
It is believed that this fabricated story and video have been created by capitalizing on some real incidents of orca attacks that have occurred in the past. Notably, in 2010, an experienced trainer named Don Branshaw was killed by an orca named Tilikum at SeaWorld Orlando in the United States. That tragic incident caused a stir worldwide and was also highlighted in a documentary called “Blackfish”.
Therefore, the news circulating about Jessica Radcliffe being attacked by an orca is a baseless rumor. Social media users are urged to refrain from sharing sensational but false information without verification.
